Apprentice of the Year entries now open!

Entries in the Registered Master Builders Carters 2008 Apprentice of the Year competition opened on Monday 7 April.

The competition, which recognises excellence among young carpentry apprentices, is run by the RMBF, Carters, the Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) and supporting sponsor the Department of Building and Housing.

The competition is open to all carpentry apprentices who have completed a minimum of two years of their National Certificate in Carpentry employed on site.

Competition changes

Changes to the competition this year include the age limit being lifted to 26 years or younger in the year of the competition, and a great new range of prizes from Carters suppliers Hitachi, Stanley, Irwin Industrial Tools and Wholesafe.

Entries close on Thursday 31 July, but be in quick to be eligible for an early bird special prize draw!
